November 17, 2013, promises to be a day to reckon with as Peter Okoye, the better half of P-Square will walk his fiancé and mother of his two kids, Lola Omotayo, down the aisle and make his union with her official.
Peter, who recently proposed to Lola with a brand new Range Rover SUV, made the date official and indications are rife that the traditional marriage will be at the Arc Events Centre, Lagos, Nigeria, while the white wedding proper will host outside the country in early 2014.
A representative of the P-Square has confirmed the development and further said arrangements are in top gear to make the day an unforgettable one.

Former Nigerian Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Akinwumi Martins, (Obagoal), is really living up to his name of ‘Weapon of Mass Destruction’ as he has knocked up Italy striker, Mario Balotelli’s elder sister, Abigail Baruwah, getting his third child from her.
The baby boy came on the 16^th of October in Italy, making Obagoal a father of three children from three different women. The 25 years old Abigail and Obagoal met in England a few years ago and despite protestations from Mario, they went ahead with their affair which culminated in an earlier pregnancy though she had a miscarriage in December, 2012, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Obafemi Martins , who has refused to get married to any of his three baby mothers, has a son with an African lady he met when he was playing for Inter Milan FC of Italy and another son from a white lady he met in England when he was playing for Newcastle Football Club.
He has had spells in Spain, Russia and is currently playing in the United States of America, so we expect Russian, Spanish and American babies from Obagoal.

hoops!!!! Air disaster averted yesterday as IRS aircraft makes emergency landing

Another air disaster was averted yesterday  afternoon when an IRS Aircraft made an emergency landing in Kaduna. A Fokker 28 plane, carrying 89 passengers from Lagos to Kaduna, developed hydraulic problems few minutes before landing at the Kaduna airport.

The aircraft's front tyres refused to come out during landing, forcing the pilot to land without them. Fortunately no one was injured.

The Managing Director of IRS, Yemi Dada, later explained what happened to reporters. He said:

"The pilots received a low hydraulic warning minutes before landing, and this affected the landing gear, nose wheel steering, brakes, cargo doors, thrust reverser and the flight controls."

“On final approach to Kaduna today on our flight 3390 with 89 passengers, our cockpit crew got a low hydraulic in system 1 warning and decided to take precautionary measures to ask for ground confirmation that all gears were down and locked."

“The crew proceeded to land but followed procedure to disembark on the runway and not taxi in accordance with the procedure.”

He said all passengers disembarked with the assistance of a crane before the aircraft was towed to ramp. He also said the airline's maintenance crew is checking the aircraft to see what happened.

Lagos State Government Tuesday, sealed the Headquarters Church of the Lords Chosen Church, along the Apapa – Oshodi Expressway over alleged gross environmental abuse and Attention of structures along Odo Asimawu Drainage Channel, System 6c.

While monitoring the state of Lagos environment, the Commissioner for the Environment noticed massive trading under the Ijesha flyover bridge along the Apapa Oshodi Expressway and large scale environmental degradation arising from the activities of the traders.

Copyright Society of Nigeria, Nigeria’s approved collective management organization for musical works and sound recordings has filed a Ten Billion Naira copyright infringement action against Daar Communications Plc, Nigeria’s biggest privately owned broadcast network which operates stations such as Ray Power FM, Faaji FM and Africa Independent Television (AIT) scattered all over Nigeria.

The suit No. FHC/L/CS/1392/1ees.3 filed on October 7, 2013 on behalf of COSON at the Federal High Court, Lagos by crack Intellectual Property lawyer, Mr. Justin Ige, is the biggest known copyright infringement action ever in the African continent.

In the action, COSON is asking for the sum of N724, 500, 000. 00 (Seven Hundred and Twenty Four Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira) being amount due as royalties or license fees
